I need help regarding Louis Vuitton Vernis Bags. I love the look of the bag but I read about color transfers?
Is there any way to avoid color transfers on LV Vernis Bags? I’m considering getting one in Amarante. Because this is almost brown, would it be less obvious if color transfers occur? I read that color transfers occur easily especially when you’re wearing blue jeans. Does this refer only to new unwashed jeans or all types of jeans? Does this also mean that one should avoid wearing jeans when carrying a Vernis leather bag? Anyone has experience with LV Vernis bags? Thanks.
The older colours were more easily damaged than the newer colours – they are much better now. But you still have to be carefull – just don’t leave it by anything that can transfer if you touch it too long and don;t ;et it rub against your legs when you are wearing jeans.
The Amarante isn;t brown – it’s dark purple almost black. I’m not a fan of it because it gets finger prints on it really badly.
Just treat your bag nicely and it should stay pretty =)
