What to Do on a Rainy Day

It can be disappointing to see dark clouds while on your Virgin Island vacation. Typically, the rain is intermittent, mixing with periods of sun, which can be both refreshing AND beautiful. In fact, some of the most stunning photographs of the island were taken on a stormy day. Occasionally, we’ll get a day (or two, or three) of just nonstop rain. It’s rare, but it happens. Of course the locals are happy because we all live on rainwater! But the visitors always look glum. Don’t let the rain ruin your trip!  There is plenty to do when the rain comes down.

• Shopping! Of course! The shops of Main Street are very close together, so you can stay dry!

• Movies - What better place to see “Pirates of the Caribbean”??? We have a very nice theater.

• Cyber Café - Grab a coffee and catch up on your e-mail.

• Museums - Perfect time to learn about our history.

• Butterfly Farm - Our newest attraction… it’s indoors and it’s very interesting and fun!
